Vatappalu (Crunchy rice snacks)

This is made every diwali in our home when i was young. We used to love eating this. We even distribute this to our relatives and friends during the festival season by nicely packaging them.
Ingridients:-
Rice flour - 2 cups
Peanut fried and grinded - 1 cup
Onion chopped - 2 med finely chopped
Curry leaves
Chilli powder
1. Take a vessel and add rice flour. Heat ghee in a spatula and add to this mixture. Adding the hot ghee in the mixture ensures that the rice snack comes out crunchy.
2. Add the peanut powder and the rest of the ingridients.
3. Now mix the flour with water and make it into a chapati roll. Make them into small balls and pat them into small circles.
4. To make them into perfect circles, i use a pickle jar lid.
5. Now deep fry these rice patties in oil
6. cool them off and then store in air tight containers.
